Intensive Family Therapy

Some families struggle with anger, use of physical force, coercive discipline, child physical abuse, problem parenting, child behavior problems, alienation, or visitation resistance-refusal. Without intervention, children are at risk of poor outcomes.

I provide intensive family therapy (also known as family reunification therapy) to families using evidence-based interventions that improve parent-child relationships, strengthens healthy parenting practices, enhances children’s coping skills, maintains safety, and builds feelings of security.

I prioritize children’s safety and security alongside improving the parent-child relationship. Therapy involves assessment, psycho-education, skill building, and progress tracking, and includes individual and parent-child sessions.

Please schedule a complimentary consultation with me to discuss your family’s needs.
