Meeting the needs of children is a team sport.
- It requires collaboration, planning, flexibility, and trust.
- It is often impacted by unstated rules, hidden agendas, shifting alliances, flagrant violations, surprise penalties, football bounces, turf fights, and rabid fans.
- Legal involvement and/or obligations further complicate the therapeutic arena and personal and professional relationships.
